Just completed an amazing shoot for Marooned Hair Salon in Cowbridge. The aim of the shoot was to provide Marooned with a series of images they can use for future publications using Leah their 'Face of Marooned'



The hair designs were by Blaise one of the top stylists and daughter of Claire one of the directors of Marooned. We did both a studio shoot and a location shoot around the Physic Gardens of Cowbridge.

We shot over 400 images and her are just a few of my favourites

Grazing Lizard yet again have used our services for their latest theatre assignment; Act 1 Theatre Group present Jack & the Beanstalk at the Phoenix Theatre

Just had a lovely wedding meeting with Gemma & Kevin at the home of Gemma's parents in Baglan, Port Talbot. Absolutely stunning home and the plan is hold the service and reception in the grounds of the home.

I am absolutely delighted to report that after seeing several photographers Gemma & Kevin have booked myself to help cover their important day, I cant wait.

The Moroccan themed marque to house 150 guests in a Spanish styled wedding, is going to be some wedding!

Recently I helped with the installation of an amazing handcrafted 12 seater Dining Table & Chairs for a friend and sculptor Craig Sheppard to the home of Gavin Henson.



I was commissioned to take some commercial shots for Craig and only in passing I asked Gavin would he pose for me for my web site. I was so impressed with his relaxed demeanour and his willingness to help us out. I hope he likes his picture now!

Today I had the privilege of helping with Greyhound Rescues Annual Dog Show.

Capturing images of the winning hounds in all the Class Competitions. Plus I found a little extra time to capture some heart rendering stunning images of some dogs and their owners.

Had a great shoot with one of the latest members of the Esporta Fitness Training Instructors at Esporta Bridgend. Victoria is soon to become their latest Personal Trainer.

What a lovely day for Mair & Ron to celebrate 40 years of marriage at the Coed-Y-Mwstwr with the close friends and family.



I was a surprise guest organised by the children of Mair & Ron. Mair a former Registrar has conducted many weddings at the `Coed-y-Mwstwr, so I felt very honoured to be asked to capture them both as the centre of attention for a change.



Very shortly Mair & Ron will be receiving a Loxley Exclusive Wedding Anniversary Book filled with lovely memories from their special day.

Lauren needed a decent head and shoulders image for her college portfolio as a dancer.



So we took the opportunity of shooting outdoors at Coity Castle on a brilliant sunny day.



With such a strong sun we had to shoot in the shade which really gives such soft colours and great natural tones.



Whilst we were there we thought we might as well shoot some extra poses.

Just been to meet Just Perfect Catering who cater for all aspects of outside catering.



Their web site is very professional and their food is exceptional!



Great staff with very high standards, looking forward to working more with this great Bridgend based company in the future

Colgau Gold are providing the rings for the Royal Wedding and in an effort to publicise this event they are carrying out a promotion up at McArthurGlen Bridgend Outlet. On 29th April the first couple through the doors and propose on the stool will get their rings for free!



Here's a few shots of the models carrying the stool to the shop and carrying out a proposal.



There is a possibility that one of our images might make national press this week!

What a glorious day and what a star Olivia's mother was to bring so many props to the shoot.
We had a hobby horse, a children's tea party with rug and wicker basket. Clothes sets and matching accessories to make any passing child green with envy!



Little Olivia at just 5 was wonderful, we played hide and seek, climbing the castle ruins, she even made me cups of tea at her very own tea party.

The shoot took just under 2 hours and one day later Olivia's mum has over 200 images to look over before picking her favourites, which is going to be some task!

A shoot such as this would cost £95 for a 20x16in print and 2 free 7x5in of the same image.

I have just completed a series of images for 'Dough' a successful sandwich bar in Cardiff. The remit was to produce some images for their menu drop down list on their web site and a few incidental 'fill in' images to compliment the site.



Here are just a few samples from the shoot. Shot with just one Canon 580ex Speedlite (bounced high above the subject matter to create an even soft light over the item. Plus several reflectors placed at the front and side to bounce back the light to fill in any shadows which were too harsh and were not providing enough detail of the subject.

All the images (food and shop) were shot handheld to allow for greater freedom and speed

All the images had a post edit of a slight sharpen and the 'overlay' blending mode set to 50% to increase contrast.

The really popular successful Tapas Bar on Broadlands have just employed our services to take one internal and one external shot for their new menu.



We decided on a Tapas layout of some of the fine food that is on offer at Bar 46 along with an external shot of the bar.



The new menu will be produced as stylish A3 style cards utilising the pictures as the backdrop to the menu lists on both side.

Graham Davies Photography has recently won a contract with the Bridgend Borough Council to photograph all 8 Sports Centres in the Borough over the next few weeks.

Internally and externally these images will be used in all future publications for the borough.

Samples of these images will appear in our Commercial Section shortly but we have included a few samples of some of the centres shot so far

Yet another successful night of Eastern Dance. Carol Weathers has worked non stop over the passed few months preparing meticulously for this event.

It was a great spectacle of dance and music and thoroughly enjoyed by all

The McArthur Glen Group have approached me to help them produce a series of images of the 90 shop fronts at the Bridgend Outlet in order to give the McArthur Glen web site a lift.

In addition I have also produced several commercial product shots to enhance the site and add interest.

Juke Box are an amazing dance troupe from Cardiff who recently starred in the 3D movie Street Dance!

Just had a recent shoot with Lloyd Davies, formerly of Rosser & Davies who won Opportunity Knocks many years ago. Lloyd works all over the world with several premier cruise companies along with a very successful UK programme. The night before our shoot he was actually double billed with Men Aloud at the CIA Cardiff to a packed audience.
