Bio

I see photography as an art form rather than just a technical skill. The power of a photograph should never be underestimated, from the visual pleasure to more meaningful memories and emotions that a photograph can stir.

Having studied Art & Design at Brunel University, I am constantly looking for where the light is coming from and how can I manipulate and control it to my advantage to enhance the pleasure and beauty of my subject.

I constantly study and re-evalute my work and the work of my fellow photographers. Keeping up with the trends and striving to become a high society wedding photographer leader is just one of my mid term goals.

Currently I am shooting 40 weddings a year, I won't shoot any more, as I wouldn't be able to give each and every Bride & Groom the service they deserve. For example I never shoot more than two wedding back to back as I don't believe that the third wedding can possibly get the same service as the first or even second wedding.

I also have an extensive portfolio of local and national businesses that commission me to produce high quality professional images for their companies.

An ever developing aspect of my work are Newborn Baby & 1st Birthday Cake Smashes! There is no more thrill and pleasure than helping to capture memories for 'new' families.

I love the diversity of my work as it helps to stimulate me technically and challenge me mentally, but if I had to pick a favourite genre it would be weddings. Im a sucker for emotion and for creating a narrative through pictures. As wedding photographers we are truly blessed with the opportunity to create lifelong memories of one of thee most important days in a couples life and I feel truly honoured to be invited to the wedding to help capture these moments for them.

A great photographer has mastered the art of controlling light

Someone who takes snaps captures what he sees, a Photographer captures what he wants you to see (Graham Davies 2010)
